A Hauntingly Adorable Card!!!

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!! For this design team project for The Cutting Cafe we got to work with the super adorable Elisha Jean and Friends Sets. I choose to work with Elisha Jean and Friends Being Good Witches.

I used a few more Cutting Cafe Sets to create my sweet little Halloween scene. I used the Easel Card Template (which I LOVE!!), The 3D House Set for the tree, Garden Stand Ups for the sign and grass and Halloween and Fall Basic Shapes for the crooked fence, pumpkins, bat, moon and broom.

I colored the little witch Mikala Ann with Copics markers adding in a belt and some shading. This is my first Copic coloring that I have shared as I have been teaching myself how to use them properly. Who knew you couldn't just color with markers!?! I think the coloring came out pretty good!

I added some fun little rats with glitter on them and put one in my little witches hand after I cut the broom out of her hand and lots of Stickles accents throughout.

Here's a close up of the sign. I found the tombstone sag through a google search.

Here's a side shot so you can see the easel.

I really hope you enjoy my project as much as I enjoyed making it!! I think it turned out pretty darn cute!!

A Moustache Box!!!

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!! Here is my project for the design team at The Cutting Cafe!! I choose to work with Post It Note Box and Cover Set! When it comes to the stationary type projects I like to stick with a more masculine aesthetic. I like to think that if I had a need for a stationary set it would definitely be more masculine and made from wood. So here it is!

I used a wood grain paper and a burlap ribbon to keep everything together. I also used some stickles to make it look like there are rivets around the outside of the lid.

I used a navy pinstripe paper for the covers of the post it notes and choose to use the included PDF file to print the wraps with the pre-printed words.

I think it turned out pretty darn cute! I hope you like! Make sure you head over to The Cutting Cafe Blog and check out the other projects by the design team members. If you leave a comment you could win 3 free files from The Cafe!!!

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!!! Here is my latest post for Regina at The Cutting Cafe. For this round we were able to choose any project that we like! YAAY!! I choose to keep going with The Christmas in July theme!  I picked the Mailbox Template and Cutting File which I am absolutely in love with this file! It's soo cute!! Plus there are two different types of mailboxes to choose from.

Super cute right!?! A place to put your letters to Santa Claus!!

I just loved working with this file, it was too much fun! Really endless possibilities!!

The envelopes are also a Cutting Cafe file called Mini Card and Envelope Set. They fit just perfect on the inside.

Lot's of gold accents including the flag on the side.

Christmas In July!

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!! For this round of projects for Regina at The Cutting Cafe we got to do Christmas in July!! Who doesn't love Christmas is July!?! I found it a little difficult to get in the Christmas spirit though since it has been soo hot lately!! hehehe.

I choose to work with the Assorted Pop Up Cards file at The Cutting Cafe. This is a SUPER cute file as it has tons of pop up cards to work with!! There's flowers, cakes, presents!! It's awesome!!!

I got to raid my Christmas paper which was fun and used an embossed plaid paper with a metallic gold.

I also used the Loopy Loopy Bow file from the Cafe which I LOVE using!! You can re-size it for soo
much!!

Here's the inside of the card with a fun Christmas carol paper. Again, I use the Loopy Loopy Bow file for these little bows. That was a little harder since my hands are huge and I sized them super small! But they came out pretty cute!

A close up of the inside.

Hope you enjoy my card! Make sure you jump over to The Cutting Cafe Blog and check out the other SUPER talented team members designs!! Make sure you leave a comment there to be eligible to win 3 files of your choice!!!

Happy 4th of July/Birthday To My Sister!!

Hello and welcome back fellow crafters!! I wanted to share with you a card I made for my sister's birthday. It just so happens that it's on the 4th of July and she is obsessed with everything patriotic. I found the card on Pinterest and was lead to the blog Just Give Me Stamps. I absolutely love the card and had to replicate it!!

It's a standard A2 sized card with lots of layers, some embossing and distressing!! The stars are Verve's Seeing Stars Stamps.

The Birthday Wishes is also a Verve stamp. Here's the sentiment on the inside.

I know my sister will just love the card!! It's the right amount of Birthday and the right amount of Americana!! Hope you enjoy!!

KEEP CALM I BROUGHT CUPCAKES!!!

Welcome back fellow crafters!!! I'm back to cardmaking and back on the design team for Regina at The Cutting Cafe!! YAAY!! I've missed these very talented ladies!! This project for The Cafe was Cupcakes!!! Yum!!! Who doesn't love cupcakes!?!?! I choose to work with 13 Shaker Card Templates & Cutting Files from The Cafe. It's got an assortment of different shakers you can make including this cute cupcake!!

I had some fun cupcake and baking paper that I got at Hobby Lobby and have been wanting to use for a while. It's a 6'' square card and I did the cupcake as a small shaker. Super cute right!?!

I used real sprinkles for the inside of the shaker. Probably not such a great idea since they started breaking and crumbling up pretty quickly!

I downloaded the "Keep Calm" Font from online as I just love anything "Keep Calm". So now I have the font to do it!

I hope you enjoy!

Happy Fathers Day!!

Welcome back fellow crafters!! I wanted to share with you the card I made for my boyfriends dad for Fathers Day. Another card inspired from Pinterest! Gotta love Pinterest!!!

I love the more vintage masculine papers with this card. I did it a 6'' square card.

The ties are from Regina at The Cutting Cafe. It's the For My Tie-Rific Dad Printable Stamp Set and I converted the pdf's from that set to svg's so I could cut them on my Cricut.

Here's the sentiment on the inside. I found this from a google search and thought it sounded just perfect!!

The original card was scrap-lifted from here.
Hope you enjoy!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Hello fellow crafters!! I'M BACK!! YAAAY!!!! Lots of amazing changes in my life which kept me away from crafting. My boyfriend and I moved to Northern California for work back in February and I've been trying to get our home back in working order. Mostly so I could craft but also so we could find our clothes…who am I kidding, it's so I could craft!

So here's my first project back! It's my moms 74th birthday and I wanted to make her something special! I found this card on Pinterest and HAD to make it. I LOVE Pinterest….sooo much inspiration there!

It's a standard A2 card with some embossing and a knife pleat ribbon. Lots of stuff I've never tried before so I thought why not!?! I pierced, layered even did some hand stitching. I'm still trying to learn how to stitch paper on my sewing machine, just got to find my sewing machine!!! Hehehe. I had a hard time with the knife pleat, big hands and small ribbon don't mix sometimes….especially when you're trying to do tiny little folds on it. So after six hours of messing with it I finally quit and asked a very talented friend of mine who makes clothing to do it. She did it in 10 minutes. JEEEZ!!!! Thanks Kaja!!!

Here's the sentiment on the inside.

I think it turned out pretty good for my first card back and doing stuff I've never tried before! Hopefully you all enjoy!!! I'll be back soon with Design Team projects for Regina at The Cutting Cafe!!!

Here's my mom and I on the trolley in San Francisco. She came up from Los Angeles to help me unpack and feel more comfortable at home. Thanks Mom!! I couldn't have done this big of a move without you and Whitney!!! I love you both sooooo much and miss you!!!

In Chinatown.

And here's one of my boyfriend and me at Alcatraz Island with our beautiful new home in the background!!

Here's one of my most favorite views ever!!! The Golden Gate Bridge!! I still can't believe that I'm here!!!
